Why I Don't Bother

to write about The Episcopal Church anymore.  Chris Johnson has thrown enough light on the opinions of Katherine Ragsdale, who is the new and unanimously elected Dean of Episcopal Divinity School. There just isn't anything strange about a person of her opinions getting such a job.  Nor is there much point to discussing.  Conversation with such is little more than shouting across the Grand Canyon.  One can only gape, and then retire to pray for her and those she teaches.

Ladies, want your husbands to get more into the household cleaning?  Of course you do.  Get one of these.  Nothing linking power equipment to cleaning - and you can clean the grill with it, too!  Better living through overwhelming firepower!

Busy, Busy, Busy

The last few weeks have been intensely busy, with a family issue of some complex difficulty arising that maybe I'll write about someday, and also pretty time consuming work on the construction of a midwest diocese of ACNA.  While my role in the latter is slight (lots of people are doing a lot more of thankless work - and here I thank them, one and all, clerical and lay), it has involved meetings and emails and phone calls and thinking.  Hasn't been a lot of time for posting.  Some of the busy-ness should be diminishing now, so we'll see. . . but gardening season is bearing down.
