Predestination and Racism

While writing an email about the NU fake hate crime mess, I realized that "racism" is becoming the new Original Sin. From the point of view of those who think this way, we are all racist regardless of our thoughts and actions. We inherit the taint of racism from our racist ancestors, and can never be free of it. It is present in us without our will or consent. This view of our Entire Corruption does not offer any method of redemption, so we are consigned to a sort of hell of racism for all time. It offers a sort of highly reduced Calvinism without any Grace to save us. Scary.

Update: And it comes complete with its own prudery of language: words that can never be said.
